Influencer marketing platform for agencies: influencer marketing software for agencies, priced per client
The short answer
The best influencer marketing platform for an agency is the one whose price still works once you divide it by your clients. Of eight platforms agencies commonly shortlist, only four publish a price, and all four build their plans around one brand. Influencer Hero, Captiv8, Meltwater and Upfluence sell agency or enterprise tiers by quote only. MicroInfluencers Scale is $399 a month ($319 billed yearly) with unlimited creators per campaign, multi-brand workspaces and 15 seats, which is about $100 per client per month across four clients.

If you run an agency, you are not buying influencer software the way a brand does. A brand buys one seat for one product line. You are buying a tool that has to hold four, eight or fifteen clients at once, give an account manager a clean view of each one, and still leave margin after you pass the cost through or bury it in the retainer. Most vendor pricing pages are written for the brand, and the agency question, what does this cost me per client, is left for the sales call.
That question is what this page answers. We read the published pricing of eight platforms that agencies actually shortlist in the US, noted which ones sell seats and which sell credits or quotas, and flagged where the agency tier is a real product and where it is a line that says Contact sales. The pattern is consistent: the tools that publish a price build their plans around a single brand, and the tools that court agencies do not publish a price at all.
Under the table is a worked example for a four-client agency, because a headline price means little until you divide it by the clients sharing it and by the quota each of them will burn. The honest limits of our own product are on this page too, including the things an agency might want that we do not sell.

Why it works
What an agency needs that a brand does not
Cost per client, not per account
A $649 plan is cheap for one brand and expensive for a roster of small clients. Divide every quote by the clients who will share it, and by the quota each one will use, before you compare.
Quotas that do not collide
Discovery tools meter profile views, email unlocks and tracked creators per account. Four clients on one plan share one quota, so the busiest client can starve the others by the middle of the month.
Terms you can pass through
Clients churn on 30 to 90 days notice. A 12-month platform minimum on a client you might lose in a quarter is a liability on your books, so month-to-month terms matter more to an agency than to a brand.

- Every creator is fake-follower-checked and engagement-verified before your team sees them
- Briefs with FTC #ad disclosure written in, so compliance does not depend on which account manager wrote it

Worked example
What a four-client agency pays per client
Take a small US agency with four DTC clients, each running about 20 micro creators a month on Instagram and TikTok, with three account managers and an owner who needs access. Here is what the same workload costs on four platforms, month to month.
1. MicroInfluencers Scale: about $100 per client
$399 a month divided by four clients is $99.75. Unlimited creators per campaign means the busiest client never hits a cap, and 15 seats covers four people with room to add freelancers. On yearly billing it is $319 a month, or about $80 per client.
2. Modash Performance: about $150 per client, with a shared quota
$599 month to month is $150 per client, and 5 seats fits the team. The catch is the quota: 800 opened profiles a month shared by four clients is 200 each, and a client doing real discovery can use that in a week. Modash is also a research tool, so briefs, approvals and payments sit elsewhere.
3. Influencer Hero Business: about $622 per client, three months up front
$2,490 a month for 8 seats is $622 per client, and the 3-month minimum means the smallest commitment is $7,470. The Standard plan at $649 has one seat, which does not fit a team of four. The agency tier is quoted, so the real figure may be higher or lower.
4. Quote-only platforms: plan for five figures a year
Meltwater, Upfluence and Captiv8 do not publish a price and sell on annual terms. Vendr reports a median Meltwater contract of $25,800 a year, which is $537 per client per month across four clients before anyone has booked a creator.
5. Pass-through or bundled
Most small agencies fold platform cost into the retainer instead of billing it as a line item. At $100 per client that is easy to absorb in a $3,000 retainer; at $600 it is a fifth of the fee and needs to be priced in explicitly.
Creator fees are not in these figures, because they are the same whichever tool you use. For what those fees run in 2026, see influencer marketing cost and pricing. Swap in your own client count and seat needs and the division still tells you which plan fits.
People also ask
What agencies ask before buying influencer marketing software
What is the best influencer marketing platform for agencies?
There is no single best one; it depends on what your agency sells. For discovery and research across many creators, Modash is the most transparent on price. For an all-in-one tool with outreach and affiliate tracking, Influencer Hero has an agency tier sold by quote. For running micro and nano creator campaigns for several DTC clients at a known monthly cost, MicroInfluencers Scale is $399 a month with unlimited creators per campaign.
How much does influencer marketing software cost for an agency?
Published prices for agency-capable plans run from about $400 to $2,500 a month, and quote-only platforms usually land in five figures a year on annual contracts. MicroInfluencers Scale is $399, Modash Performance $599 month to month, Influencer Hero Business $2,490. Divide by your client count: the same $2,490 is $622 per client with four clients and $249 with ten.
Can one influencer marketing account manage multiple clients?
Sometimes, and the pricing page rarely says how. Some platforms sell a dedicated agency tier (Influencer Hero, Meltwater), some list multi-brand workspaces on a published plan (MicroInfluencers Scale), and discovery tools like Modash meter one shared quota per account, so several clients on one plan draw from the same monthly allowance. Ask how quotas and client data are separated before you buy.
Do influencer marketing agencies use software?
Almost all do once they run more than a handful of creators a month. Spreadsheets break at the point where several account managers track briefs, drafts, posting dates and payments for different clients at once. The usual stack is one tool for finding and vetting creators and one for managing the campaign, or a single platform that does both.
Is there a white label influencer marketing platform?
A few vendors sell white-label or branded client reporting on enterprise contracts, quoted by sales. MicroInfluencers does not offer white-label reports. If putting your own logo on the client dashboard is a hard requirement, raise it on the first call with any vendor, because it is rarely on a published plan.
How many seats does an agency need?
Count everyone who writes briefs, approves content or talks to creators, then add one for the owner and one for a freelancer. A four-person agency usually needs five to seven seats. That rules out single-seat entry plans such as Influencer Hero Standard and Modash Essentials, which allows two team members.
Should an agency pay monthly or yearly for influencer software?
Pay monthly until you have held the clients who use it for at least two quarters. Yearly billing saves about 20 percent on most published plans, but a 12-month commitment on a client who leaves in three months is a cost you cannot pass through. Several quote-only platforms require annual contracts, which is the main reason small agencies avoid them.
How do agencies charge clients for influencer marketing software?
Most small agencies fold the platform into the monthly retainer and a few bill it as a pass-through line. Bundling works when software is under about 5 percent of the retainer. Above that, list it separately or price it into a higher tier, otherwise the tool quietly eats the margin on your smallest clients.
What is the difference between an influencer database and a marketplace for an agency?
A database lets your team search and export creator profiles, then do outreach and negotiation yourselves. A marketplace lets you book creators through the platform, with briefs and approvals attached. Agencies that sell strategy and relationships lean toward databases; agencies that sell volume execution for DTC clients save more time on a marketplace.
