Find creators · Cheapest influencer marketing platform
Cheapest influencer marketing platform and budget influencer marketing platforms ranked by what ten creators really cost
The short answer
The cheapest influencer marketing platform for a single round of creators is usually one with no subscription and a percentage fee, such as Collabstr, whose free plan adds 10% to each order. Once you run creators every month, a low flat subscription wins: MicroInfluencers starts at $49 a month, Afluencer at $49 and Heepsy at $69 billed yearly. Watch the percentage fees. GRIN's free plan charges 20% on every dollar you deposit for creators, so it costs $400 on a $2,000 creator budget. Prices checked at each vendor's own pricing page on 20 October 2026.

Most lists of cheap influencer platforms sort by the number on the plan card. That number is the least useful figure on the page. What you actually pay is the subscription plus whatever percentage the platform takes on the money you send to creators, plus any minimum term, and on several popular tools the percentage is bigger than the subscription.
Take a plain first program: ten US micro creators at $200 each, so $2,000 in creator fees, paid month to month. On GRIN's free plan the 20% management fee on wallet deposits adds $400. On Collabstr's free plan the 10% hiring fee adds $200 and there is no subscription at all. On Influencer Hero the cheapest monthly plan is $649 and every plan carries a three-month minimum, so the smallest commitment is close to $2,000 before you have paid a creator anything. Same ten creators, very different bills.
So the honest answer to which platform is cheapest is that it depends on two numbers you already know: how much you will pay creators each month, and whether you need the platform to find them, pay them, or both. A brand placing one order a quarter should not pay a subscription. A brand hiring every month should not pay 15% or 20% on every creator dollar forever.
The table below does that math for nine platforms using prices read on their own pricing pages on 20 October 2026, including ours. MicroInfluencers is a flat subscription from $49 a month for a ranked, engagement-checked shortlist of US micro and nano creators, briefs with FTC disclosure built in, and approvals and tracking in one place, with a small marketplace fee on creator payouts and no markup on the rate you agree. It is not the cheapest option for every brand, and the table says where it is not.
How to price it
Start from your creator budget, not the plan card
Write down two numbers before you compare anything: how much you will pay creators in a normal month, and how many months you will run. Multiply each platform's percentage fee by the first number, add the subscription, and respect the minimum term. That one line of arithmetic reorders almost every cheapest-platform list on the internet.

Why it works
What actually makes an influencer platform cheap
Percentage fees beat sticker prices
A platform that charges 10% to 20% on creator payments is the cheapest choice for one small order and the most expensive one for a growing program. Price the fee against the creator budget you will really spend each month, not the plan card.
Minimum terms hide in the small print
A monthly price with a three-month or twelve-month minimum is not a monthly price. Influencer Hero states a 3-month minimum on every plan and Upfluence a 12-month one. For a first test, month to month is worth more than a discount.
Discovery-only tools leave the payment work to you
Heepsy and the cheaper Modash tier find creators but do not pay them, so add your own time and payment costs. A cheap database plus an hour a week of chasing invoices is not cheaper than a platform that briefs and pays in one place.
What it handles
Matched, verified and shortlisted in seconds
Describe your brand and niche, and the AI scans creators in the 1k to 100k band, checks each one for fake followers and real engagement, and ranks the strongest matches into a shortlist you brief, approve and pay, all in one place.
- Starts at $49 a month, month to month, with no annual contract and no sales call
- Returns a ranked shortlist of US micro and nano creators from a plain description of your product
- Checks every creator for fake followers and real engagement before you spend anything
- Builds FTC disclosure into every brief and brings every post back for approval
- Adds no markup to the rate you agree with the creator, only a small marketplace fee on payouts

Honest comparison
What ten creators really cost on each platform's cheapest workable plan
Scenario: ten US creators at $200 each ($2,000 of creator fees) in one month, billed month to month where the vendor allows it. Platform cost is the subscription plus any fee charged to the brand on top of creator payments. Every price read on the vendor's own pricing page on 20 October 2026.
| Platform | Cheapest plan that does the job | Fee on creator payments | Platform cost for 10 creators | What the cheap plan leaves out |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Collabstr | Free, $0 a month. Pro is $299 month to month ($249 a month billed yearly) | 10% hiring fee added to each order on Free and Pro, 5% on Premium. Creators pay a separate 15% from their own payout | $200 | Posting a campaign brief for creators to apply to needs Pro. On Free you hire from creator profiles one order at a time |
| MicroInfluencers | Starter, $49 a month month to month ($24 billed yearly), up to 10 creators per campaign on Instagram and TikTok | A small marketplace fee on payouts, itemized before release, and no markup on the agreed rate | $49 plus the marketplace fee | Payouts handled by the marketplace, YouTube and more seats start on Growth at $149 a month |
| Afluencer | Brand plan at $49 a month with 60 invitation credits. Brands can also post collabs free | None listed on its pricing page | $49 | Its pricing page does not describe creator payments, so budget your own way to pay creators. Bigger outreach volume moves you to Influencer Hero plans |
| Heepsy | Starter at $89 a month month to month or $69 billed yearly. A free plan lets you run searches and open profiles | None, because it does not pay creators | $89 | Discovery and audience data only. Outreach, briefs, approvals and payments happen elsewhere |
| JoinBrands | Free plan, $0 a month. Paid plans $99, $299 and $499 a month | 15% platform fee on Free, then 12%, 10% and 8% on paid plans | $300 | Built around UGC jobs priced per piece (from $25 a video), not around hiring creators for their audience |
| GRIN | Free, $0 a month. Starter is $200 a month with a 30-day free trial | 20% management fee on wallet deposits on Free, 10% on Starter, 7% on Growth, 5% on Scale | $400 on Free, $400 on Starter | Free allows 1,200 creator searches a month and no export of creator lists or contact emails. Paid partnerships need $250 in the wallet |
| Influee | Starter Pack at $229 a month for up to 10 creator collaborations | 10% marketplace fee on top of each creator payment | $429 | UGC video focus, priced for a steady monthly flow of ad creative |
| Modash | Essentials at $299 month to month finds creators. Paying them in Modash needs Performance at $599 ($499 billed yearly) | 0% on the first $10,000 a year of payouts and affiliate commissions, then a fee above that | $599 to pay inside Modash, or $299 if you pay creators yourself | Essentials does not include creator payments. Enterprise starts at $14,700 a year |
| Influencer Hero | Standard at $649 a month, or $519 a month billed quarterly ($1,557 up front) | None listed | $1,557 minimum, because every plan has a 3-month minimum term | No free plan and no month-by-month exit in the first quarter |
How we built this table: we read each vendor's own pricing page on 20 October 2026 and applied its published plan price and published fee to the same $2,000 creator budget. Creator fees themselves are the same $2,000 everywhere and are left out of the platform cost. Collabstr's separate 15% fee comes out of the creator's payout, not your bill. Prices change, so open the pricing page before you sign anything, and our best influencer marketing platforms comparison carries the dated price of every vendor we track, including the ones that publish no price at all.
The break-even math
When a percentage fee stops being the cheap option
A free plan with a fee and a paid plan with a lower fee cross at a creator budget you can work out in one line. Here are the crossings for the platforms that publish both numbers.
GRIN Free versus Starter at $2,000 a month
Free costs 20% of what you deposit. Starter costs $200 plus 10%. The two are equal at $2,000 a month of creator deposits ($200 divided by the 10-point gap), which is the same figure GRIN prints on its own pricing page. Above $2,000, Starter is cheaper, and Growth at $500 plus 7% only beats Starter above $10,000 a month.
Collabstr Free versus Premium at about $8,000 a month
Free charges a 10% hiring fee. Premium is $399 month to month ($333 billed yearly) with a 5% fee. Month to month, the subscription pays for itself once you hire about $7,980 of creators a month ($399 divided by the 5-point gap). Below that, stay on Free.
JoinBrands Free versus Starter at about $3,300 a month
Free charges 15%, the $99 plan 12%. The $99 plan is cheaper once your monthly creator spend passes about $3,300 ($99 divided by 3 points). For a few videos a month, the free plan is the cheaper one.
Flat subscriptions win once you hire every month
At $2,000 a month of creator payments, a 10% fee is $200 and a 20% fee is $400, every month. A flat plan of $49 to $89 a month undercuts both from the first month, as long as it covers the work you need done. The question becomes whether the cheap flat plan finds, vets, briefs and pays, or only does one of those.
Count the minimum term as part of the price
A $649 plan with a three-month minimum is a $1,947 decision, and a 12-month contract at any price is a year of spend you cannot pause. For a first test of influencer marketing, month to month is worth more than any discount you get for committing.
Add your own time to discovery-only tools
A database at $69 to $299 a month gives you names and audience data. Contacting, briefing, approving and paying ten creators by hand takes several hours a round. If that time costs more than the price gap to an all-in-one plan, the database was not the cheap option.
All fee rates and plan prices in these examples come from the vendors' own pricing pages read on 20 October 2026. The crossover is simply the subscription difference divided by the fee difference.

What small brands ask before choosing a cheap influencer platform
What is the cheapest influencer marketing platform?
For a one-off order, Collabstr's free plan is the cheapest platform we checked: no subscription, a 10% hiring fee on each order, and escrow included. For a monthly program, flat plans are cheaper: MicroInfluencers and Afluencer start at $49 a month and Heepsy at $69 billed yearly. GRIN has a $0 plan, but its 20% fee on wallet deposits makes it one of the more expensive ways to pay creators.
Are there influencer marketplaces that don't charge monthly fees?
Yes. Collabstr, JoinBrands and GRIN all have $0 plans, and each makes its money from a percentage instead: 10% per order on Collabstr, 15% on JoinBrands and a 20% management fee on wallet deposits on GRIN. No monthly fee is cheapest when you spend little on creators. Once you hire every month, a flat subscription with a small fee usually costs less.
Which influencer marketing platform is best for small teams on a tight budget?
Pick the cheapest plan that does all of the work you would otherwise do by hand. A small team usually needs finding, vetting, briefing and paying in one place, month to month. MicroInfluencers covers that from $49 a month for US micro and nano creators. If you only need a list of names, Heepsy at $69 to $89 a month is cheaper, and you run outreach and payments yourself.
How much does an influencer marketing platform cost?
Published self-serve plans run from $0 to about $600 a month, and several add a fee of 5% to 20% on creator payments. Enterprise platforms such as Aspire, Upfluence, CreatorIQ and Traackr publish no price and quote after a demo, usually on annual contracts. Our influencer marketing cost guide adds creator rates to get a full budget.
Is there a free influencer marketing platform for brands?
There are $0 plans, but none of them is free once you pay a creator. GRIN Free takes 20% of every wallet deposit, JoinBrands Free 15% and Collabstr Free 10% per order. Heepsy has a free plan for searching only. Our brand plans are paid from $49 a month, and our free trial guide shows which platforms let you test before paying.
Is a cheap influencer platform worth it for a small business?
Yes, if it saves more time than it costs and you run creators more than once. Ten creators found, vetted, briefed and paid by hand is several hours a round. A platform at $49 to $89 a month pays for itself if it removes even a couple of those hours, and month to month means you can stop after one round if creators do not sell.
What is the cheapest way to find micro influencers?
Searching hashtags and your own tagged posts by hand costs nothing but time, and works for three to five creators. Past that, a paid shortlist is cheaper than your hours: Heepsy from $69 a month billed yearly for search only, or MicroInfluencers from $49 a month for a ranked, engagement-checked shortlist plus briefs and approvals. See how to find micro influencers for the manual method.
Do cheap influencer platforms have fake followers?
Price and fake followers are unrelated. Any open marketplace lists creators who bought followers. What matters is whether the platform checks engagement before you pay. Every creator on our shortlist is fake-follower-checked and engagement-verified, and our fake follower check page explains what to look for on any platform.
