Captiv8 does not publish pricing. Checked at source on 17 September 2026, captiv8.io/pricing returns a 404, /plans and /pricing-plans return 404 too, and every Get Started button on the site opens the same demo request form. There is no free trial and no self-serve plan. The figure you will see quoted most often, about $25,000 a year plus a $3,000 onboarding fee, comes from competitor blogs rather than from Captiv8, so treat it as a rough floor rather than a quote.

That is the short answer. The longer one matters more if you are actually deciding whether to take the sales call, because two things changed in the last eighteen months that most Captiv8 pricing articles have not caught up with. Captiv8 is now owned by Publicis Groupe, one of the largest advertising holding companies in the world. And its site now routes some contact paths to Influential, the other influencer company Publicis bought a year earlier. Both affect what kind of buyer Captiv8 is built for, and therefore what you should expect to pay.

How much does Captiv8 cost?

Captiv8 does not say, and nothing on its own site gives you a number to anchor on. What we could verify on 17 September 2026:

  • captiv8.io/pricing returns HTTP 404. The www version 301-redirects to the same 404. We also tried /plans and /pricing-plans, the two other paths vendors in this category use, and both 404.
  • Every call to action is a demo form. The homepage says Get a Demo. The product pages for discovery, paid amplification, commerce and managed services all say Get Started or Request a Demo, and on the commerce page the Get Started button is wired to the same demo popup.
  • No trial, no free tier. There is a brand manager sign-in and a talent manager sign-up, but no way for a brand to create an account and look around without a sales conversation.

That puts Captiv8 in the same bucket as CreatorIQ, Aspire and Upfluence, the enterprise platforms that sell by quote. It is the same pattern we found earlier at Heepsy and Aspire: a 404 where a pricing page would normally be. We keep a running tally of these patterns across the category on our influencer marketing platform free trial and pricing comparison.

Where does the $25,000 a year figure come from?

Search for Captiv8 pricing and you will find the same numbers repeated: roughly $25,000 a year on an annual contract, a $3,000 onboarding fee, no monthly billing, and add-ons for affiliate and storefront features on top. Every source we found for those figures is a blog published by a company that competes with Captiv8. We could not trace them to Captiv8, to a public procurement record or to a buyer who has published their contract.

That does not make them wrong. Enterprise influencer platforms really do sell on annual contracts, and a five-figure floor is consistent with what procurement data shows for Captiv8's direct peers: Vendr reports a median CreatorIQ contract of $39,250 a year and a median Meltwater contract of $25,800. It does mean you should walk into a Captiv8 demo assuming the number is negotiable and that the quote will depend on which modules you take.

What changed: Captiv8 is now part of Publicis

On 21 May 2025 Publicis Groupe announced it had acquired Captiv8, describing it as an end-to-end influencer marketing platform with a network of 15 million creators, covering 95 percent of influencers with more than 5,000 followers. The press release says Captiv8 will sit inside Publicis Connected Media and be integrated with Influential, which Publicis bought in 2024, with data from Epsilon, Publicis's identity and data business. Trade press, including Marketing Dive and MediaPost, reported the price at about $150 million, citing the Wall Street Journal.

You can see the integration on the live site today. The Captiv8 homepage still carries its own product pages and log-ins, but the contact link points to influential.co, and the social links and contact email in the footer belong to Influential.

For a buyer, this matters in two ways. First, Captiv8's natural customers are now the large brands that Publicis agencies already serve, which is not a group that needs a published price. Second, a platform owned by a holding company tends to be sold alongside services. If you are a mid-size brand with no Publicis relationship, expect the conversation to include managed campaigns and paid media, not just a software seat.

What Captiv8 actually sells

Captiv8's product pages describe five areas, and the quote you receive will depend on which of them you take:

ModuleWhat it doesWho needs it
Discovery and social insightsSearch creators by audience demographics, brand affinity and interests, with lookalike creatorsEvery buyer. This is the core platform
Workflow and measurementCampaign management, content approval and reporting on resultsTeams running several campaigns a quarter
PaidBoosting creator content through the Meta and TikTok ad APIsBrands that already run paid social and want creator content in it
CommerceAffiliate programs, attribution and branded storefronts, including TikTok ShopEcommerce brands selling on commission
Payments and managed servicesCreator payouts, plus a Captiv8 team running campaigns for youBrands without an in-house influencer lead

The commerce module is the one that most often turns a platform quote into something bigger, because affiliate programs are priced on the volume of partners and sales they manage. If what you really need is a partner program that spans publishers, affiliates and resellers rather than just creators, a dedicated partner relationship management tool is usually a cleaner purchase than buying it inside an influencer suite.

Does Captiv8 have a free trial?

No. Captiv8 offers no free trial and no free plan for brands. Creators and talent managers have their own sign-up routes, but a brand has to book a demo to see the product. If seeing the software before a sales call is a requirement, look at the platforms in the table below that publish a price and let you in without one.

Captiv8 pricing compared with platforms that publish a price

If you need a number before you take a call, this is what the published end of the market looks like. Every figure below was read on the vendor's own pricing page on the date shown.

Put the numbers side by side and the gap is plain. If the $25,000 floor is roughly right, one year of Captiv8 costs about what Modash Performance paid month to month ($7,188) plus our Scale plan billed monthly ($4,788) cost together, with about $13,000 left over for creator fees. That comparison is not fair to Captiv8 on features: neither of those tools gives you a Publicis-scale creator network, managed services or native paid amplification through the ad APIs. It is fair on the question most mid-size brands are really asking, which is whether they need those things at all.

Who should pay for Captiv8

Captiv8 makes sense if you are a large brand, particularly one already working with a Publicis agency, running always-on programs across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, with a paid social budget you want creator content to feed, and a commerce program big enough to justify storefronts and affiliate tracking in the same platform. At that scale an annual contract with onboarding is normal, and the integration with Influential and Epsilon data is the reason to buy.

It makes less sense if you are a DTC brand spending under about $10,000 a month on creators, if your program is mostly micro and nano creators rather than a roster of large ones, or if you cannot commit to twelve months. Agencies running several smaller clients face the same problem multiplied: a five-figure platform divided across four clients is a large line on each retainer, which is why we compared the agency end of the market separately on our influencer marketing platform for agencies page.

What to ask on a Captiv8 demo

If you do take the call, these questions get you to a real number faster:

  1. What is the minimum annual commitment, and is there an onboarding fee? Ask for both in writing before the second call.
  2. Which modules are in the base price? Discovery alone and discovery plus commerce plus paid are very different contracts.
  3. How are creator payouts charged? Some platforms add a percentage on top of what you pay creators.
  4. Is managed service bundled or optional? Under Publicis, the answer may have changed since the reviews you have read.
  5. What happens to our creator data if we leave? Ask about export before you sign, not at renewal.

A published-price alternative for micro creator campaigns

If your program is built on micro and nano creators, the part of Captiv8 you would use most is discovery and vetting, and that is the part you can buy without a sales call. MicroInfluencers matches your brand to a ranked shortlist of engagement-verified creators in the 1k to 100k band, screens every one for fake followers, writes FTC disclosure into every brief, and starts at $49 a month on a plan you can buy online. It is not a replacement for Captiv8's paid amplification or storefronts, and we would not pretend otherwise. For the wider field, every vendor that publishes a price sits in one dated table on our best influencer marketing platforms comparison, and you can try the matcher at the top of this page before you book anyone's demo.

Captiv8 pricing: common questions

Is Captiv8 expensive?

Yes, relative to published-price tools. Captiv8 publishes no price, but it sells annual contracts to enterprise brands, and the figures in circulation start around $25,000 a year. Self-serve platforms in the same category start between $49 and $299 a month. The premium buys a large creator network, paid media integration and commerce features.

Who pays for Captiv8, brands or creators?

Captiv8 does not publish creator fees. Creators and talent managers have their own sign-up routes and are paid by the brands that hire them, and Captiv8's published products are all sold to the brand side: platform contracts, paid amplification, commerce and managed services.

Who owns Captiv8?

Publicis Groupe, since May 2025. Publicis announced the acquisition on 21 May 2025 and is integrating Captiv8 with Influential, the influencer company it bought in 2024. Trade press reported the deal at about $150 million.

What are the best Captiv8 alternatives?

It depends on which part of Captiv8 you need. For enterprise workflow, CreatorIQ and Upfluence are the closest peers, and both also sell by quote. For discovery with a published price, Modash and Influencity. For running micro creator campaigns end to end on a monthly plan, MicroInfluencers at $49 to $399 a month.
