Terms of service

The terms that govern your use of MicroInfluencers, the two-sided marketplace where brands match with authentic micro-influencers and creators find paid brand deals. Last updated: June 2026.

Acceptance of these terms

By using microinfluencers.io or signing up for MicroInfluencers, you agree to these terms of service. If you are acting on behalf of a brand, agency or other organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are authorized to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Any deal you enter through the marketplace is also governed by the specific brief and agreement between the brand and the creator, which prevails over these website terms where they differ.

What MicroInfluencers is

MicroInfluencers is a two-sided marketplace. Brands describe a campaign and receive an AI-matched, engagement-verified shortlist of authentic micro-influencers, then brief, approve, track and pay the creators they choose. Creators join free, get matched to paid brand deals in their niche, and keep the rate they agree with the brand, less standard payment processing.

We provide the platform that connects the two sides and runs the workflow. We are not a party to the deal between a brand and a creator, we do not employ creators, and we do not control the content a creator makes. The brand and the creator are responsible for their own agreement and for delivering on it.

Brand responsibilities

If you use MicroInfluencers as a brand or agency, you agree that you will:

  • Provide accurate campaign information and clear briefs, and review and approve content fairly and in good time.
  • Pay creators the rate you agreed, on the terms set out in the deal, and pay your subscription fee when due.
  • Comply with the FTC's endorsement guides and all advertising, disclosure and consumer-protection laws that apply to your campaigns.
  • Respect the licensing and usage rights set out in each brief and not use a creator's content beyond what was agreed.

Creator responsibilities

If you use MicroInfluencers as a creator, you agree that you will:

  • Represent your audience honestly and not buy followers, run engagement bots, or otherwise inflate or fake your metrics.
  • Only accept deals you intend to deliver, and create the content described in the brief.
  • Clearly disclose sponsored content with #ad or #sponsored and follow the FTC's endorsement guides and any other applicable rules.
  • Provide accurate profile and payout information and not impersonate another person or brand.

Authenticity policy

Authentic creators and real engagement are the foundation of this marketplace. We verify engagement and check for fake or bought followers. Accounts that buy followers, run bots, misrepresent their audience, or impersonate others may be suspended or removed, and related deals may be cancelled. Scraping the platform, harvesting data you are not permitted to use, and circumventing verification are prohibited.

Acceptable use

MicroInfluencers is intended for legitimate influencer marketing between brands and creators. You agree to use the service responsibly and to comply with all applicable laws, platform rules and codes of conduct. You agree not to:

  • Buy followers, fake engagement, or misrepresent your audience or your brand.
  • Post sponsored content without the required #ad or #sponsored disclosure.
  • Impersonate another person or brand, or submit data you do not have the right to use.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service or circumvent its limits.
  • Take a deal off-platform to avoid fees, or resell or redistribute the service except under a written agreement with us.

Fees, payouts and refunds

Brands pay a flat subscription fee to use the marketplace, and pay creators the rate agreed in each deal. All prices and charges are in US dollars. Brand subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the term you choose, until cancelled in line with these terms. Creators join free and keep the rate they agree with the brand, less standard payment processing handled by our payment provider. Except where required by law, subscription payments are non-refundable. Whether a creator is paid for a given deal depends on the brand's approval of the delivered content under the terms of the brief.

Content and rights

As between a brand and a creator, the creator keeps ownership of the content they make unless the brief grants the brand a license to use it, in which case the brief and the deal set out the scope of that license. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the marketplace and display content within it. Our handling of brand, creator and payout data is described in our privacy policy. This marketing website does not run real campaigns, and you should not submit live campaign or payout records through it.

Accounts and access

You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep any credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or access has been used without your permission.

Service availability

We work to keep MicroInfluencers available and performing well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change or temporarily suspend features to maintain and improve the service.

Intellectual property

MicroInfluencers, including its software, matching technology, interface, content and brand, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the service except as expressly permitted. The names of other companies and products referenced on this site are used for identification only and remain the property of their respective owners.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The matching and verification tools support your decisions, but we do not warrant that any match, creator, campaign or outcome will produce particular results. You are responsible for the deals you enter, the content you approve or post, and your own legal compliance, including FTC disclosure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MicroInfluencers and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from any deal between a brand and a creator. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time, subject to any open deals. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, fake your metrics, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or the platform.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
