Klear no longer has its own pricing. Checked at source on 16 September 2026, klear.com/pricing returns a 308 redirect to meltwater.com/en/pricing, and the klear.com homepage now lands on Meltwater's influencer marketing product page. Meltwater owns Klear and sells it as its Influencer Marketing capability, with no published prices on any of its four plans: every one says "Contact Sales". There is no self-serve free trial, and Meltwater's own pricing FAQ says most contracts are annual with a 12-month minimum. The only public cost data comes from the procurement platform Vendr, which reports a median Meltwater buyer paying $25,800 a year.
So if you searched for Klear's price and kept landing on a Meltwater page, the redirect is the answer. Klear the standalone product with its own plans is gone, and what you are really pricing is a Meltwater contract with influencer marketing switched on.
How much does Klear cost?
Klear costs whatever Meltwater quotes you, because Meltwater publishes no figure for any plan. Vendr's data on observed Meltwater contracts puts the median at $25,800 a year, and the range shown on its Meltwater page runs from $5,375 to $56,993. Vendr also notes that larger configurations go well past that, into six figures.
| What you want to know | What Meltwater publishes | What third parties report |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | Nothing. Every plan card says "Contact Sales" | Vendr's observed range starts at $5,375 a year |
| Typical contract | Nothing | Vendr reports a median buyer paying $25,800 a year |
| Upper end | Nothing | $56,993 in Vendr's shown range, with larger multi-module deals above $150,000 |
| Influencer module on its own | Not priced separately | Vendr says it is priced on users, influencer profiles accessed and campaign features, with no separate figure |
| Billing term | "Most partnerships are structured on annual agreements, with a minimum contract length of 12 months" | Annual |
| Free trial | "Meltwater does not offer a self-serve free trial" | None |
| Setup fee | Possible for complex setups, "clearly outlined in your proposal" | Not reported separately |
One caution about the numbers you will find elsewhere. Several comparison pages and AI summaries still attach tiered monthly prices to Klear. We could not trace any of them to a Klear or Meltwater page, and the pricing URL that would have carried them now redirects away. Treat any Klear figure without a date and a source as stale.
Where did Klear's pricing page go?
Meltwater acquired Klear and has since folded the brand into its own site. On 16 September 2026 we requested the old URLs directly. klear.com/pricing answered with a 308 permanent redirect to Meltwater's pricing page. The klear.com homepage redirected to meltwater.com/en/capabilities/influencer-marketing. Klear's old /pricing-plans and product paths returned 404.
That matters for more than tidiness. It tells you Klear is not being sold as a separate product with its own plan ladder, so you should not expect a Klear-only quote. The sales conversation will be a Meltwater one, and the rep's job is to sell the platform, of which influencer marketing is one module.
Which Meltwater plan includes influencer marketing?
Meltwater's pricing page lists four plans: Starter, Pro, Enterprise and Agency. It is slightly inconsistent about which of them include influencer marketing, and that is worth knowing before a call.
| Meltwater plan | Built for, in Meltwater's words | Influencer Marketing in the plan comparison table | Influencer Marketing on the plan card |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Small comms and marketing teams, startups and scale-ups | Not included | Not listed |
| Pro | Regional teams, multi-channel marketing orgs | Ticked | Not listed |
| Enterprise | Leading and global brands, multiple markets | Ticked | Listed |
| Agency | Agencies managing multiple brands and clients | Ticked | Listed |
The comparison table further down the page ticks Influencer Marketing for Pro, Enterprise and Agency. The plan cards at the top list it as a capability only on Enterprise and Agency. Both read on 16 September 2026, by screenshot, because a text scrape of that page cannot see the ticks. If you want influencer marketing on anything below Enterprise, get the module named on the order form rather than relying on either version of the page.
Enterprise and Agency also carry API and MCP integrations. Starter and Pro do not, according to the same table.
Does Klear have a free trial?
No. Meltwater's pricing FAQ states it "does not offer a self-serve free trial" and offers a human-guided demo instead. There is no free plan either, and no way to open the influencer search without talking to sales first. If seeing the product before a call matters to you, our comparison of influencer marketing platform free trials sorts fifteen vendors by exactly that.
What you are paying for in a Meltwater contract
Meltwater's own FAQ lists the factors that set a quote: the breadth of sources and regions monitored, data volume and workflows, number of users, integrations, onboarding and support, and contract terms. Almost none of those are about influencers. They are the drivers of a media intelligence contract.
That is the honest way to read the $25,800 median. It is mostly the price of Meltwater's core business, which is media monitoring, social listening and PR tooling, and Vendr's figures describe Meltwater buyers in general rather than influencer buyers in particular. For a comms team that already needs all of that, adding the influencer module to an existing contract can be good value, and Meltwater quotes a Canon communications lead using it "almost every day to search for micro and nano influencers".
For a brand whose actual job is hiring creators, it is a lot of platform to carry. And if the thing pulling you toward Meltwater is really knowing when your brand gets mentioned, a standalone tool for brand monitoring and social listening covers that without a five-figure annual agreement attached.
Klear pricing compared with influencer platforms that publish a price
Here is the median Meltwater contract next to vendors whose prices you can read on their own pages today.
| Platform | Published price | What a year costs | Contract |
|---|---|---|---|
| Klear by Meltwater | None published | $25,800 median per Vendr | Annual, 12-month minimum for most customers |
| CreatorIQ | None published | $39,250 median per Vendr | Annual |
| GRIN | $0 to $1,500 a month across five tiers | $0 to $18,000 | Published, no required sales call |
| Modash | $299 or $599 a month, or $2,388 and $5,988 paid yearly | $2,388 to $5,988 on the yearly rate | Monthly or yearly, 14-day trial |
| Heepsy | $0, $69, $149 and $229 a month billed annually | $828 to $2,748 | Annual billing for the quoted rates |
| MicroInfluencers | $49, $149 and $399 a month | $588 to $4,788 month to month | Month to month, no annual contract |
The arithmetic that puts this in perspective: $25,800 a year is $2,150 a month. Modash Performance paid yearly ($5,988) plus a year of our Growth plan month to month ($1,788) comes to $7,776, which is $18,024 under the median Meltwater contract and covers a 380 million profile discovery database plus engagement-verified creator matching, briefs, approvals and in-platform payments for up to 50 creators per campaign. What it does not include is Meltwater's media monitoring, and that is the fair caveat: if you need that too, the comparison changes.
Prices for GRIN, Modash and Heepsy come from our dated checks on each vendor's own page, and the full table with every check date is on our best influencer marketing platforms comparison. Our CreatorIQ pricing breakdown covers the other large quote-only vendor in the same detail.
Who Klear by Meltwater is priced for
The natural buyer is an existing Meltwater customer. If your PR or communications team already pays for media intelligence, the influencer module sits on data and a contract you have, and the incremental cost is what you are really deciding on. Ask for it as a line item rather than a new platform price.
The buyer it is not priced for is a US ecommerce or DTC brand whose influencer budget is itself smaller than $25,800 a year. For that team, the question is not Klear versus another enterprise suite. It is whether to spend most of the creator budget on software at all, when a published-price tool plus the creators themselves would get the campaign out the door. If that is you, the practical next step is costing the creators rather than the platform, and our nano influencer rates page prices a full 30-creator campaign line by line.
What to ask on the Meltwater call
- Is Influencer Marketing included in this plan, or an add-on? The pricing page gives two answers for Pro. Get it named on the order form.
- What is metered in the influencer module? Vendr says profiles accessed is a pricing factor. Ask what the ceiling is and what happens when you reach it.
- Is there an onboarding or implementation fee? Meltwater says there may be one for complex setups. Ask whether yours counts.
- What is the renewal notice window? On a 12-month minimum, missing the notice date is how a one-year test becomes a two-year contract.
- What can we export if we leave? Creator lists, campaign history and performance data are the parts you cannot rebuild.
The short version
Klear pricing is now Meltwater pricing. As of 16 September 2026, klear.com/pricing redirects to a Meltwater page with four plans, no prices, no self-serve trial and a stated 12-month minimum for most contracts. Influencer Marketing is ticked on Pro, Enterprise and Agency in the comparison table but only listed on Enterprise and Agency cards. Vendr puts the median Meltwater contract at $25,800 a year, a figure driven mainly by media monitoring rather than influencer work. That is good value for a comms team already on Meltwater, and a lot of platform for a brand that only needs to hire micro influencers.
