Modash Pricing 2026: Real Monthly Cost vs Annual Rates

Modash is $299/mo or $2,388/yr, checked at source August 2026. The $199 every roundup quotes is the annual-prepay rate, so most comparisons understate it by 50%.

Modash publishes its pricing, which already puts it ahead of most of this category. Checked at source on 26 August 2026, Essentials is $299 a month or $2,388 paid yearly, Performance is $599 a month or $5,988 paid yearly, and Enterprise starts at $14,700 a year. The catch is that almost every roundup quotes $199 and $499, which are the annual-prepay rates divided by twelve, not what you pay month to month. If you are budgeting from a comparison article, there is a good chance you are understating a Modash subscription by 50 percent.

That gap is the whole reason this page exists. Modash is not hiding anything, and its pricing page shows both numbers clearly with the monthly rate struck through next to the annual one. The distortion happens downstream, when other publishers copy the larger discount number into a comparison table and drop the billing term. The result is a category where the single most quoted Modash figure is real but conditional, and the condition is a year of prepayment.

How much does Modash cost?

Here is the full published structure, checked at source on 26 August 2026. Both the monthly and the annual figures are Modash's own, taken from the same page.

PlanMonth to monthPaid yearlyEffective monthly if you prepayWhat you actually save
Essentials$299/mo$2,388/yrabout $199/mo$1,200 a year, roughly 33 percent
Performance$599/mo$5,988/yrabout $499/mo$1,200 a year, roughly 17 percent
EnterpriseFrom $14,700/yr, annual onlyabout $1,225/moNegotiated, limits are customized

Two things are worth noticing in that table. The discount is a flat $1,200 a year on both self-serve tiers rather than a percentage, which means it is proportionally much more valuable on Essentials than on Performance. And the jump from Performance to Enterprise is a little over 2x, which is a smaller step than most platforms in this category make between their top self-serve tier and their sales-led one.

What do you get on each Modash plan?

Modash meters on usage rather than on seats alone, so the limits matter more than the feature list. These are the published allowances as of 26 August 2026.

The discovery index behind all of this is 380 million or more profiles across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. That number gets misquoted too, usually as 250 million or 350 million, because publishers copy whatever was true when they wrote the page and never check it again.

"Opened profiles" is the allowance that surprises people. Searching and filtering is unlimited, but actually opening a creator's full profile to evaluate them consumes one of your 300 or 800, and the counter resets monthly. If your process is to open sixty profiles to shortlist eight, Essentials gives you about five campaigns' worth of evaluation a month before you are rationing. That is usually the reason teams move up a tier, not the seat count.

"Influential fans" is the least discussed feature and one of the more genuinely useful ones: it finds creators who already follow you, or follow an account you nominate. For a brand with an existing audience, those creators are the warmest possible starting list, because they already know the product. Modash allows 3,000 of those discoveries a month on Essentials and 6,000 on Performance.

Why do so many articles say Modash costs $199?

Because $199 is a real Modash number, just not the one most readers need. It is what Essentials works out to per month if you pay $2,388 up front for a year. Modash displays it prominently, as any company would, and comparison articles lift the prominent number into a table with a "/mo" next to it and no footnote.

The practical consequence is a budgeting error rather than a scandal. A marketing manager pricing three platforms writes down $199, gets approval for a $2,400 annual line item, and then discovers that the month-to-month option they wanted while they evaluate is $299, or $3,588 a year. That is not a rounding difference, it is a 50 percent gap on the number that goes into the business case.

It is worth being fair to Modash here: this is one of the few vendors in the category you can price without a sales call at all. Aspire publishes nothing, and its /plans URL redirects to a demo form. HypeAuditor's pricing page is a demo-booking form. Traackr and CreatorIQ both route to "request pricing". Against that field, showing two clear numbers and a 14-day trial with no credit card is close to best behavior. The problem is downstream reporting, not the source.

Does Modash have a free trial?

Yes. Modash offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required, which is unusual in a category where the normal evaluation path is a scoped demo with a rep. Use it on the question that actually decides the purchase, which is not whether the interface is nice. It is whether the index contains enough creators in your specific niche, in your country, in the follower band you can afford.

A useful trial test: pick the three narrowest audience descriptions you genuinely want, run each one, and count how many results you would actually contact. If a platform with 380 million profiles returns eleven usable creators for your niche, the index size was never the constraint and no plan upgrade will fix it. That test takes an afternoon and it is worth more than a month of feature comparison.

Is Modash worth it, and who is it for?

Modash is a discovery and analytics platform first, with campaign management, outreach, payments and affiliate tracking built around it. It suits a brand or agency that has decided influencer marketing is a standing channel, has someone whose job includes running it, and needs to evaluate a lot of creators rigorously before spending money on them.

It is a poor fit in two situations. The first is a small brand that wants to hire eight creators and be done: $299 a month plus the work of running outreach yourself is a lot of overhead for eight hires, and the platform's strengths go unused. The second is a team whose real problem is not finding creators but choosing between them, where a smaller curated pool with verified engagement gets to a decision faster than a 380-million-row index does.

The outreach side deserves one specific note, because it is where the running cost hides. Modash sends outreach from your real brand mailboxes rather than a generic platform inbox, capped at 100 personalized bulk emails a day. That is the right design, and it is also a deliverability responsibility you now own. Teams running outreach from several brand addresses at once tend to reach the point where they want every mailbox visible in one place rather than logged into separately, and it is better to plan for that before the first campaign than after the first spam-folder incident.

How does Modash pricing compare to other influencer platforms?

Here is every published price in this category that we could verify at the vendor's own site, with the date each was checked. Anything not listed here does not publish a price at all.

Two honest observations about that table. Modash is mid-priced, not expensive, once you compare it against vendors who publish anything at all. And the aggregators are unreliable across the board: Capterra still lists GRIN at $999 a month with "no free trial" and "no free version", three facts that are all wrong as of this month, and at least one competing vendor's own comparison page still charts GRIN at $1,799.

Modash pricing questions brands actually ask

Can I pay Modash monthly instead of annually? Yes. Essentials is $299 a month and Performance is $599 a month with no annual commitment. You give up $1,200 a year in discount on either tier, which is the price of keeping the option to leave.

What happens when I hit the opened-profiles limit? The allowance resets monthly. Plan your evaluation in batches rather than browsing continuously, because on Essentials 300 opened profiles disappears faster than most teams expect once two people are searching.

Are creator payments included in the price? Only from Performance up. Payments and affiliate management carry a 0 percent fee on the first $10,000 a year, combined across both, and 5 percent above that. On Enterprise the 0 percent band starts at $100,000 a year and then works in tiers. The creator fees themselves are your money, separate from the subscription.

Does Modash integrate with Shopify? Yes, on every plan.

Is there a cheaper Modash alternative? Several, depending on what you need. If the job is finding and vetting micro creators rather than running enterprise-scale analytics, our Modash alternative comparison lays out the differences honestly, including where Modash wins. If your problem is specifically that you cannot verify whether an audience is real before you pay, that is what influencer vetting covers.

The one number to write down

If you take a single thing from this page: Modash costs $299 a month, or $2,388 a year if you prepay. Quote the $199 figure only with the annual condition attached, because a business case built on it will be short by $1,200 in year one. And when you compare it to anything else in this category, check the vendor's own pricing page and note the date, because roughly half of what is published about prices in influencer marketing software was accurate at some point in 2024 and has not been looked at since.

If you are choosing between platforms rather than budgeting for one you have already picked, the influencer marketing platform comparison carries the full published-price table with dates, and what a micro influencer platform does covers the category itself. For the underlying question of what creators charge, which is a separate line item from software, see how much influencer marketing costs.
