Compare ยท Popular Pays
Popular Pays alternative for brands that want published pricing and vetted micro creators
The short answer
Popular Pays is a managed creator marketplace that handles discovery, contracts, legal and payments, and it prices by sales quote. Checked on 30 October 2026, its old pricing URL forwards through several redirects to the credit plans of LTX Studio, an unrelated AI video tool, so there is no Popular Pays price to read. MicroInfluencers publishes $49, $149 and $399 a month, returns a ranked shortlist of engagement-verified US micro and nano creators, and lets you run a first campaign without a call.

Popular Pays is an established name, and its pitch is a sound one for a certain buyer: a marketplace plus a team that handles the paperwork. Its homepage describes a creator database, hiring, contracts, legal and payments handled for you, content review and analytics, and says it has 160K+ creators. That count is the company's own and we have not verified it. If you have a large content budget and want someone else to run the program, a managed service is a legitimate way to buy.
The friction starts at price. We followed popularpays.com/pricing on 30 October 2026 and it redirects to popularpays.com/content-lab/pricing, then on to the pricing page of LTX Studio, a separate AI video product from the same parent company, with Free, Lite, Standard and Pro credit plans. None of that is a Popular Pays price. The last archived plans page we could find, from March 2023, offered Suite and Single Buy and both buttons read Talk to Sales.
So most brands looking for a Popular Pays alternative are really asking one of two things. Either they want to know the cost before they book a call, or they are running a first round of eight to ten small creators and do not need a managed service at all. MicroInfluencers is built for the second case. You describe your product, get a ranked shortlist of 1k to 100k creators on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube who have passed fake-follower and engagement checks, send briefs with FTC disclosure already written in, approve every post before it goes live and pay creators in the same place.
Popular Pays is the stronger fit when you want a vendor to run most of it: matching, contracts, legal, payments and a content library, bought on a quote. MicroInfluencers is the stronger fit when you want to hire micro and nano creators yourself, see the monthly cost before talking to anyone, and have every creator audience-checked first.
Side by side
Popular Pays vs MicroInfluencers, honestly
A fair look at what each does well. Both are capable tools. Here is where they differ.
| What matters | MicroInfluencers | Popular Pays |
|---|---|---|
| Published pricing | Yes: $49, $149 and $399 a month on the pricing page, readable without signing up | No. Checked 30 October 2026, the pricing URL redirects to an unrelated AI video tool. Its 2023 plans page showed Talk to Sales for both options |
| How you buy | Self-serve. Pick a plan, describe your brand, get a shortlist the same day | Sales conversation, then a quote for the platform, add-ons or a managed campaign |
| Contracts, legal and payments | Briefs, approvals and creator payouts in one place, with a small marketplace fee on payouts and no markup on the agreed rate | Stronger on hand-holding. It describes contracts, legal and payments handled for you |
| Finding creators by niche | Core function. A ranked shortlist of 1k to 100k US creators scored on audience fit and engagement | Marketplace and creator database, with a stated 160K+ creators (the company's own figure) |
| Audience verification | Fake-follower and engagement checks on every creator before you see them | Not described on the pages we could read |
| Managed services and content library | Light. You run your own campaigns, so you do the day to day work yourself | Stronger here: strategists, creative services and a content library are part of the offer |
| Best fit | Brands running their own micro creator programs on a visible budget | Brands with a larger content budget that want a vendor to run the program |

Why brands pick MicroInfluencers
One marketplace that runs the whole campaign
A price you can put in a budget doc
When the vendor will only quote on a call, you cannot compare it with anything until you have already spent an hour with a salesperson. A plan at $49, $149 or $399 a month can be approved by whoever owns the budget the same afternoon, and a first campaign of ten creators costs the plan plus the creators, nothing hidden between.
Right-sized for a first round
Eight to ten small creators with one post each does not need a strategist, a content library and a managed-service retainer. It needs a good shortlist, a clear brief and a clean way to pay. Starting there, you learn which creators and angles work before committing to a heavier model.
Followers checked before you pay
On a micro creator deal the audience is what you are buying. Every creator on your shortlist has had fake-follower and engagement checks, so the money goes to real reach and not to inflated counts.

What brands ask about Popular Pays and the alternatives
How much does Popular Pays cost?
Popular Pays does not publish a price. Checked on 30 October 2026, its pricing URL forwards to the pricing page of LTX Studio, an unrelated AI video tool. An archived March 2023 plans page showed Suite and Single Buy, both Talk to Sales. Expect to budget from a quote, plus creator payments on top.
Is Popular Pays free?
Not for brands. The company does not list a free plan, and its last archived plans page offered only Talk to Sales options. Brands pay for the platform or a managed campaign, and they pay the creators as well.
Why does the Popular Pays pricing page show LTX Studio?
The pricing URL is redirected to the parent company's AI video site. The likeliest reading is that the older pricing page was folded away and buyers are routed to a sales conversation. We have not seen the company explain it, so ask for an all-in number for your first campaign.
What is the best Popular Pays alternative?
It depends on what you are replacing. For hiring US micro creators yourself on a published monthly plan, MicroInfluencers. For managing an existing roster, GRIN. For hiring from listed packages, Collabstr. For a managed service in the same style, expect another quote based vendor.
Is Popular Pays good for small brands?
It is built around a managed marketplace, which suits a brand with a real content budget and little time. A small brand testing eight to ten creators usually gets to a first result faster on a self-serve platform whose cost is visible up front.
