Lurkit does not publish a price. Checked on 5 October 2026, its pricing page at lurkit.gg/pricing lists three tiers, Indie, Studio and Publisher, and every one of them ends in a "Contact for pricing" button. The only figures on the page are a 20% commission on every paid Quest and an offer to "apply for up to 70% discount". Keymailer, its closest rival, does publish prices: free, then $24.99, $49 or $99 a month per game.
So the honest answer to what Lurkit costs is: a quoted subscription you only see after a sales call, plus 20% on top of whatever you pay creators through Quests. The "$89 a month" figure that several review sites print for Lurkit's indie plan is not on the vendor's page today. Below is what each vendor actually states, what you get for the money, and what a US studio pays to reach gaming creators by other routes.
How much does Lurkit cost?
Here is everything Lurkit's pricing page states, read at lurkit.gg/pricing on 5 October 2026 (lurkit.com/pricing 307-redirects there).
| Tier | What the page lists | Price shown |
|---|---|---|
| Indie | Marketing insights, creator CRM, key campaigns, paid campaigns and Quests | Contact for pricing, with an "up to 70% discount" application |
| Studio | Everything in Indie plus a success agent and a key account manager; add-ons such as a 12-month Launch Pack, a site take-over, a newsletter push and a highlighted game slot | Contact for pricing |
| Publisher | The Studio features, the same add-ons, and the creator program with missions and rewards | Contact for pricing |
| Paid Quests (all tiers) | Pay as you go campaigns where creators are paid to cover your game | "Includes 20% commission fee per Quest" |
Two numbers matter for your budget and only one of them is public. The 20% Quest commission is stated plainly, so if you pay creators $5,000 through Quests, budget roughly $1,000 on top. The subscription itself is set in the quote. Ask for it in writing, along with the length of the term and what the 70% discount requires, before you compare Lurkit with anything else.
Where the $89 a month figure comes from
Search for Lurkit pricing and you will find tool directories saying the indie plan costs $89 a month and that qualifying developers get up to 70% off in their first year. We could not find $89 anywhere on lurkit.gg on 5 October 2026. The discount offer is real and on the page; the number is not. It may have been published once and since removed, or it may be a figure a rep quoted to someone. Either way, treat it as a third-party report, not a list price.
How much does Keymailer cost?
Keymailer's publisher side now sells under the name Partnier, and keymailer.co/pricing sends you to partnier.com/pricing for the numbers. Read there on 5 October 2026, the plans are priced per game:
| Keymailer (Partnier) plan | 1 game | 5+ games | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | Campaign management, anti-fraud, code distribution and content tracking for your own contacts, plus up to 10 requests a month from creators browsing Keymailer |
| Base | $24.99/mo | $99/mo | Organic press and influencer discovery, influencer recommendations, total content tracking and stream alerts |
| Insight | $49/mo | $199/mo | AI content analysis, stream snapshots and competitor analysis |
| Program | $99/mo | $299/mo | Creator programs, back-catalog promotion, creator connect, playtester app and contract signing |
The 5+ games price covers up to 20 active games under a fair-use policy. Above that, Partnier points you to an enterprise plan.
The plans are the cheap part. Most studios that want guaranteed coverage end up buying from the services menu, which Partnier also prices on the same page:
- Boosts (ads, outreach, newsletter listings and social posts to promote a demo, launch or playtest): from $249.
- Professional campaign management by a PR professional: $749 a month.
- Negotiated sponsored content, where their scouts find creators, negotiate rates, oversee production and handle payments: $99 per contracted influencer, no commission, minimum 5 influencers. The creator's own fee is on top.
- Micro-payment challenges for small cash rewards: from $449. Best-price campaigns, where creators bid to take part: from $749.
- Press PR service and Asia outreach from $349 each, trailer production from $149.

Which one should a US indie studio pay for?
The two key portals and a creator marketplace solve different problems, and the cheapest choice depends on which problem you have.
If you need broad key reach before Next Fest or a launch, Keymailer's free plan is hard to argue with. Creators who already browse a game catalog find you, request a key and get tracked automatically. The limit is control. You get whoever asks, in whatever genre they happen to play, and organic coverage is never guaranteed.
If you are a publisher with a launch budget and want a managed gaming network, Lurkit is built for that, with account managers, launch packs and creator programs. Expect a sales process, a quote and the 20% on every Quest.
If you need guaranteed videos from creators who play your genre, that is a paid-deal problem rather than a key-distribution problem. The creators whose viewers wishlist strategy games or cozy sims are rarely the ones refreshing a key catalog. You find them, pay them, and track each one's store link. That is the workflow our gaming influencer marketing page covers: describe the game and the genre, get a ranked shortlist of engagement-verified YouTube, TikTok and Instagram creators in the 1k to 100k band, brief them with the key, the embargo and the disclosure, and pay them in one place.
Plenty of studios use both. A free Keymailer plan runs in the background for organic coverage, and a short list of paid, genre-matched creators carries the launch week.
The costs none of these prices include
Whichever route you choose, budget for four things the subscription does not cover.
- Creator fees. For YouTube and TikTok micro creators, a key plus roughly $100 to $500 a video is a common range. Larger channels and live streams cost far more. Our YouTube influencer marketing page breaks down how YouTube rates are set against views.
- Key leakage. Keys sent to unvetted accounts end up on resale sites. Keep a key log tied to each creator, and screen for fake followers and botted views before you send anything.
- Disclosure. A free key is a material connection under the FTC Endorsement Guides, even with no fee. The FTC settled with Warner Bros. in 2016 for failing to make sure paid YouTube creators disclosed sponsorship in Shadow of Mordor gameplay videos. Put the disclosure in the brief and, for paid deals, in the influencer contract.
- Launch-week infrastructure. A creator push that works sends a spike of new players at once, and the worst outcome is a login or matchmaking server that falls over while the videos are live. Set up uptime monitoring that checks your servers every 30 seconds before the embargo lifts, so you hear about an outage before the comments do.
To count what you bought, give every creator a unique UTM-tagged Steam store link. Steamworks UTM Analytics records visits, wishlists and purchases per tracked link, so you can see which videos earned their fee.
