IZEA pricing now comes in two forms. The Creator Marketplace is free to join, and brands that want creators to pitch them pay $129 a month for Marketer Pro, or $99 a month ($1,188 a year) billed yearly. Everything bigger, from IZEA's ZED platform to fully managed campaigns, is priced by proposal only. The IZEA Flex plans that most reviews still quote at about $130 and $500 a month are no longer on IZEA's pricing page: when we checked on 14 October 2026, izea.com/izeaflex returned a 404 and izea.com/flex was a login screen.
That gap matters if you are budgeting. A brand reading a 2024 or 2025 review will plan around a self-serve software subscription that IZEA no longer sells on its public pricing page. What IZEA does sell publicly is cheaper and narrower, a marketplace where you buy listed creator services, and what it sells privately is a managed service whose price you only learn after a proposal.
How much does IZEA cost?
IZEA costs a brand nothing to join its Creator Marketplace and buy creator listings, $129 a month (or $99 a month billed yearly) for Marketer Pro, which adds casting calls, and a custom quote for managed services or the enterprise platform. The marketplace also takes a seller service fee of 10% to 17.5% from the creator's side of every sale. IZEA's own pricing page shows just two options, "Managed Services" with a Request a Proposal button and "The Creator Marketplace", described as "Free to access. Pro plans start at $6/month".
Here is what we read directly on IZEA's pages on 14 October 2026. Our server got a 403 from izea.com, so we read the pages through a reader proxy, which also showed the true status of each URL:
- izea.com/pricing lists only Managed Services and The Creator Marketplace. There is no IZEA Flex card, no Starter or Power tier and no dollar figure other than the $6 marketplace entry price.
- izea.com/izeaflex returns a 404, and izea.com/flex is a page titled "Flex Portal" with a login, not a plan list.
- izea.com/memberships lists the marketplace plans with monthly and yearly prices, shown in the table below.
- izea.com/technologies describes ZED, IZEA's creator marketing operations platform with creator relationship management and analytics, alongside the Marketplace and its FormAI tools. ZED has no published price.
IZEA Creator Marketplace plans and prices
The marketplace plans are built mostly for creators, with one plan for brands. All of them include buying and creating listings; what changes is AI credits, how many casting calls you can pitch, the seller fee and how fast sellers get paid.
| Plan | Monthly | Billed yearly | Seller service fee | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 17.5% | 200 AI credits a month, buy and create listings, pitch 3 casting calls a month, 45-day seller payout |
| Creator Pro | $9 | $6 a month | 10% | 5,000 AI credits, unlimited pitches, social and performance analytics, 30-day payout |
| Creator AI | $23 | $19 a month | 10% | 15,000 AI credits |
| Creator AI+ | $47 | $39 a month | 10% | 35,000 AI credits |
| Marketer Pro | $129 | $99 a month, $1,188 a year | 10% | Create casting calls, 60,000 AI credits, analytics, priority support |
Read at izea.com/memberships on 14 October 2026. The page labels yearly billing "save 20%"; the Marketer Pro figures work out to about 23% off.
The plan a brand actually needs is the one line that matters. On the free plan a brand can browse creators and buy a listed service, an Instagram post or a TikTok video at the creator's posted price. To post a casting call, where creators pitch you instead of the other way round, you need Marketer Pro. That is the closest thing IZEA now publishes to a self-serve brand subscription, and at $1,188 a year it is far below the $1,560 to $6,000 a year that the old Flex figures implied.
What happened to IZEA Flex pricing?
IZEA Flex is no longer priced on IZEA's website. Third-party reviews, including the ones that rank first for "izea pricing", still describe a Flex Starter plan around $130 a month billed annually and a Power plan around $500 a month, with a $2 fee per creator payment. We could not find either plan anywhere on izea.com on 14 October 2026: the pricing page has no Flex card, the old Flex product URL 404s, and the Flex address now opens a login portal.
The likeliest reading is that Flex still exists for existing customers behind that login, while new business is pointed at the marketplace or at a proposal. That is our inference, not something IZEA states. If a sales rep offers you Flex, ask for the price in writing and the term length, because there is no public figure left to check it against.
How much do IZEA managed services cost?
IZEA does not publish a price for managed services. The pricing page offers only a Request a Proposal button, and the work is scoped per campaign: strategy, creator sourcing, content production, paid amplification and reporting, run by IZEA's team. Expect a quote built from the creator fees plus IZEA's management cost, and expect it to be sized for brands spending tens of thousands of dollars on a campaign rather than a few hundred.
For comparison, our own breakdown of influencer marketing agency cost shows how agencies typically price retainers and management fees in 2026. A managed IZEA program sits in that world, not in the software world.
Is IZEA worth it?
IZEA is worth it in two specific cases. If you want to buy a handful of creator posts at fixed listed prices without a subscription, the free marketplace is a low-risk way to do it, and Marketer Pro at $99 to $129 a month is reasonable if casting calls bring you creators you would not have found. And if you want a publicly listed company to run the whole program for you, managed services is the product.
It is a weaker fit in three situations:
- You want to find specific creators by audience. A marketplace shows you creators who listed themselves. It does not rank every creator in your niche by audience fit and verified engagement, which is the job a discovery tool or matching platform does.
- You need workflow software at a published price. With Flex gone from the pricing page, IZEA's software for running campaigns, approvals and payments sits inside ZED or a managed contract, neither of which has a public price.
- You care about the creator's cut. The 10% to 17.5% seller service fee comes out of what the creator earns. Creators price that in, so on a free-plan creator a $200 listing leaves them $165.
IZEA pricing compared with tools that publish a price
| Tool | Published price | Checked at source | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| IZEA | Marketplace free; Marketer Pro $129 a month or $99 billed yearly; managed services and ZED by proposal | 14 Oct 2026 | Buying listed creator services, or a fully managed program |
| Agentio | No public price; about 20% of creator spend per Contrary Research | 13 Oct 2026 | YouTube and Meta sponsorships with larger creators, priced on CPM |
| Creator.co | $199 or $1,499 a month billed annually; $299 or $2,199 monthly with a minimum term | 12 Oct 2026 | Self-serve software with an upgrade path to a managed service |
| Modash | $299 or $599 a month, or $199 and $499 a month billed yearly | 13 Oct 2026 | Creator discovery database with outreach and payments |
| GRIN | Free, $200, $500 or $1,500 a month, plus a 20% to 5% fee on wallet deposits | 20 Oct 2026 | Creator management for ecommerce brands |
| MicroInfluencers | $49, $149, $399 or $798 a month, or half that billed yearly, plus a small marketplace fee on creator payouts | Our own price | AI-matched, engagement-verified US micro creators on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, with FTC briefs, approvals and payments in one place |

Costs that sit outside IZEA's plan price
- The creator's fee. On the marketplace it is the listed price. US micro creators commonly charge $100 to $2,500 per post, and nano creators less; our nano influencer rates page lines up three 2026 rate guides side by side.
- Usage rights. A listed Instagram post does not automatically give you the right to run the video as an ad. Put usage and whitelisting terms in writing before you pay.
- Product and shipping. If creators need the product to make the content, that is a real line in the budget.
- Tax paperwork. If you pay US creators directly, the 2026 Form 1099-NEC instructions set the filing threshold at $2,000 a year per nonemployee. On a marketplace that handles payment, ask who issues the forms.
- Your team's time. A marketplace saves you the search but not the brief, the review and the reporting. If nobody on the team has those hours, the honest comparison for a managed IZEA program is an in-house hire, and posting the role on a job board that lists only marketing roles is the cheaper way to find an influencer marketing manager.
What are the best IZEA alternatives?
For a managed program run by an agency, any established influencer agency will quote against IZEA. For a discovery database you search yourself, Modash publishes its prices. For ecommerce gifting and creator management, GRIN. For a matched, engagement-verified shortlist of US nano and micro creators on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube at a published monthly price, with briefs, approvals and payments in one place, MicroInfluencers starts at $49 a month. Our influencer marketplace page explains the difference between a marketplace where creators list themselves and a matcher that ranks every fitting creator, and you can compare our plans before you request anyone's proposal.
IZEA pricing questions buyers ask
Is IZEA free for brands?
Joining IZEA's Creator Marketplace is free for brands, and the free plan lets you browse and buy creator listings. You pay the creator's listed price for each service. Posting casting calls so that creators pitch you needs Marketer Pro at $129 a month, or $99 a month billed yearly. Managed services are priced by proposal.
What does IZEA Marketer Pro include?
Marketer Pro includes casting calls, 60,000 AI credits a month for IZEA's FormAI tools, buying and creating listings, unlimited pitches, social and performance analytics, a Pro badge and priority support. It costs $129 month to month or $1,188 a year, which is $99 a month, as listed on izea.com/memberships on 14 October 2026.
What is IZEA's seller service fee?
IZEA charges sellers on its marketplace a service fee of 17.5% on the free plan and 10% on any paid plan, with payouts after 45 days on free and 30 days on paid plans. The seller is usually the creator, so the fee reduces what the creator receives from your purchase rather than adding to your bill.
Is IZEA Flex still available?
Not on IZEA's public pricing page. On 14 October 2026 the page listed only managed services and the Creator Marketplace, the old Flex product page returned a 404, and izea.com/flex opened a login portal. Existing customers may still use Flex, but there is no published price to budget from.
Does IZEA have a free trial?
The marketplace has a free plan rather than a trial: IZEA says "no credit card needed" and "unlimited time on free plan". Paid plans can be upgraded and cancelled from the memberships page. There is no published trial for ZED or for managed services.
